2014 In Seven Photos

2014 opened so many doors for me.  It was a year of firsts.  It was a hard, adventurous, amazing year, and I hope 2015 brings even more love and joy.

I spent time hiking in the Adirondacks with my boyfriend for a few days.  Nature always astonishes me.  IMG_1316

I spent a week hanging out in South Dakota with my incredibly large family.  We went to Toadstool, Custer, Devils Tower, Mount Rushmore, the works.  Again, I love exploring and seeing the world around me.10351834_381822025311800_3871013641774124119_n

I love spending time with my family.  I’m so thankful to call these girls my cousins. So smart, so beautiful, so blonde.10408012_10204392947615271_3432332328130177120_n

Two of my very best friends came up to New York to visit me.  I love them to pieces.tumblr_inline_ngzuwfZ4nG1rg5iks

I met Hayden.  April 17. No one has ever made me so happy.  He keeps light in my life, he keeps me laughing, he keeps me on my toes.  He is an absolute dear, so supportive, and I can’t wait to see where we go.tumblr_ng2lfvgemg1sfxunio8_1280

My friendships blossomed.  I don’t have a massive amount of friends.  I have a small circle that means the world to me.

Overall, 2014 was fun.  I learned a lot, I moved to New York, I have the greatest boyfriend, I have the sweetest family, I get to do what I love and I finally feel like I am blooming into what I want to be.  I am so inspired and motivated to create.  Do I have resolutions to carry me into January 1? I haven’t thought that far ahead, yet.  I have about eleven hours to come up with something.

This past year is full to the brim with memories, but with 2015 a blank slate, I can’t wait to start the new year off with a bang (and probably a hangover).
